Winter enthusiasts also enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at McCauley Mountain, which provides 21 ski trails and is home to a number of Olympic skiers.

Just a few minutes’ walk are also the public beach and tennis courts, open 7 days/week through the summer. A short drive north, Bald Mountain is must-see for a picturesque hike. The Enchanted Forest Water Safari, New York’s largest water theme park is located right here with family rides and attractions.
